PDC Machines is a second-generation family owned and operated business manufactures diaphragm gas compressors for industrial gas and hydrogen refueling stations.
Assembles mechanical and rotating equipment such as Diaphragm Compressors, Pressure Vessels, Pumps, Magnetic Drives in addition other activities consists of building bench and pilot plant scaled laboratory systems.
Reviews engineering drawings and associated bills of materials.
Bends and routs stainless steel tube lines, primarily using compression fittings, pipe threaded fittings and cone and threaded fittings.
Threads and bends carbon and stainless-steel pipe (sch-40, 80, 160).
Cleans and pre-washes mechanical parts.
Runs electrical conduit.
Follows all company established safety procedures.
Wears appropriate protective and breathing apparatus when necessary
Ensure product is assembled in accordance with the issued work file.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5+ years assembly mechanic experience from Diesel Engineering/Heavy Automotive/Large scale assembly
Understanding of engineering drawings and associated bills of materials
Ability to read blue prints
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work alone and l with a team
Excellent organizational skills
